Yuzu is a prized citrus native to China but more widely consumed in Japan where its medium size fruit is used as a lemon substitute.
The juice flavor is acid and tart.
The skin color is yellow to orange and the rind and flesh are highly fragrant. It is hardy to
5°F when fully established. It is believed to be a cross between C. ichangensis and C. reticulata.
